About the Role: We are looking for a tech-savvy, solutions-driven Systems Administrator to manage and optimize the digital systems that power our catering operations across seven kitchens. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving, and has a keen eye for process improvement. You’ll be responsible for setup, training, and troubleshooting across our custom-built ordering app, task management system, point-of-sale backend, and stock management processes.
Location: Cape Town, South Africa
Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Person (Potential Hybrid Option After Establishment)
Remuneration: R15 000 – R20 000 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
1. Online Ordering Platform Management
- Full setup, training, and troubleshooting for our custom-built, white-labeled app
- Liaise with developers to ensure smooth functionality and implement improvements
- Manage user access, permissions, and operational workflows
2. Task & Workflow Systems
- Maintain and optimize ClickUp and Google Suite workflows for operational efficiency
- Work closely with our Digital Architect to improve processes and system integration
- Support staff in adopting digital tools and ensuring proper use
3. Point of Sale & Stock Management
- Oversee POS system and stock management backend
- Coordinate with the service provider for system updates, training, and troubleshooting
- Ensure data accuracy in stock management systems and provide outputs to relevant managers
4. Documentation & Process Improvement
- Maintain and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for system-related processes
- Identify inefficiencies and propose new technology solutions to enhance operations
- Stay ahead of emerging tech trends in hospitality and operations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to analyze workflows and recommend system improvements
- Experience with digital tools (ClickUp, Google Suite, POS systems, or similar)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, operational environments
- Driver’s license and own car (required for occasional site visits)
- Based in Cape Town
Bonus:
